Cannon Beach Conference Center

We've been taking the kids to CBCC almost every evening lately. The kids just cost $2 each to cover child care, and we're free! Flannery gets to attend her class, which is a great time of singing, crafts, gym play and Bible teaching...Cannon goes to the nursery, which he's getting a little better about. He screams when we wheel him inside and then the girls on staff pick someone to push him around the grounds and feed him teddy grahams to keep him content. He's fussing less and less, and learning that we come back. This is good practice for him prior to our annual Labor Day conference there.

Chris and I attend the service, which includes a song and worship time and dynamic speakers from across the country. Last week, it was Tom Shrader, our favorite, from Phoenix. This week, it's Rene Schlaeper (sp?) and Mark Spurlock, pastors at a big church in Santa Cruz. After the service last night, they had us go get the kids for a song time. Cannon hated it.
